Job Title: Senior Mean Stack Engineer
Location: Lagos
Position Summary
- We are looking for a MEAN Stack Developer who will be committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products.
Responsiblities
- Responsible for the development of robust and secure APIs that will power all our applications
- Development of robust and secure APIs that would power all Gokada platforms
- Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
- Resolve issues and fix bugs in good time of robust and secure APIs that will power all our applications
Requirements
- Must reside in Lagos
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Proficient with JavaScript and Modern JavaScript (ES6, ES7).
- Experience with Nodejs Modules.
- Experience with Testing Libraries and Frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Jest, Karma, Protractor.
- Experience with Web Sockets, Buffers and Streams in Nodejs.
- Familiarity with Building and Maintaining Restful Backend Services
- Familiarity with the JavaScript Module Pattern.
- Good Knowledge of Asynchronous programming in Javascript.
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Working knowledge in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Deployment
- Knowledge of AWS and its Cloud Messaging APIs.
- Knowledge of C or Rust Programming Language is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
