Job Summary
- The Maintenance Technician shall be a member of multi-disciplined crew responsible for the mainterience of Greenville liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant
- The LNG Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- The LNG Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, compressors, valves, fans, coolers, loading arms, motors, transformers, gas engines, diesel generators, 11KV Circuit breakers, incomers, bus couplers, relays, pressure, level and temperature transmitters/gauges, flow meters, metering station, PLC, SCADA and Weigh bridge
- Power plant technician shall be responsible for operation and maintenance of Jenbacher gas engines, diesel generators, power synchronisation panels, power distribution and utilities
- Maintaining drawings and configuration documentation as related to instrumentation, mechanical and electrical scope
- Basic understanding of LNG/Gas plant operations.
Qualification and Personal Attributes
- The ideal candidate must possess at least a National Diploma in any Engineering discipline with 8 years hands-on experience in LNG/Gas plant maintenance tasks.
