Job Summary
- The Chemical Laboratory Engineer shall be responsible for the chemical laboratory operations to achieve the production targets, and providing non delayed services.
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing optimization of production chemical program, including chemical injection rates and pumps
- Laboratory start-up and analysis of water, Amine, gas, LNG, LPG, oil, heavy hydrocarbons
- Sample receipt, Segregation, Analysis Reporting, Recording and Updating of results in LIMS (Laboratory Information and Management System)
- Calibration and maintenance of GC and other Lab instruments Preparation of Standard solutions
- Preparation of laboratory monthly reports and reporting to the Manager.
Qualification and Personal Attributes
- The ideal candidate must possess a Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Science Laboratory Technology with at least 5 years experience in LNG, Gas/Power plant laboratory testing and analysis of samples
- The ideal candidate must have experience in testing water, oil and gas samples and making reports.
