Bauchi State Community and Social Development Agency is responsible for the implementation of the World Bank Community and Social Development Project (CSDP). The objective of the agency is to increase access by the poor people, and particularly displaced and vulnerable people, to improve social and natural resources infrastructure services in a sustainable manner throughout Nigeria.

Job Title: Project Officer - Gender and Vulnerable (PO G&V)
Location: Bauchi
Responsibilities
- Develop and action plan for mainstreaming vulnerable groups and gender activities in the operation of the State Agency
- Facilitate the preparation processes of GDP formulation
- Assist project team to incorporate appropriate vulnerable groups (including gender) issues into project activities
- Assist in organising training for LGRC, LGA line ministries and Operation officers in mainstreaming vulnerable and gender issues in development activities.
- Prepare a quarterly report highlighting emerging issues from projects in mainstreaming vulnerable groups/gender issues in development activities.
- Responsible to the Manager Operations
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager Operations.
Qualifications and Experiences
- At least a first degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Rural Environmental Development, Agric extension with at least 5 years post qualification experience part of which must have been spent in CDD related areas.
- Computer literacy/experience in Gender/Vulnerable Mainstreaming and Safety nets will be an added advantage.
Remuneration
The advertised post attracts remuneration commensurate with the mode of entry in accordance with agreed terms with the World Bank.
