Chevron is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Completion Engineer - Joint Venture

Job Description:
  • Work with the Asset Team and Drilling Engineers to recommend an optimal completion type. Start a well file and obtain current / proposed well schematics matching the proposal. Look through equipment needed for job and liaise with Equipment Engineer's to place same on order.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of second class Lower Division.
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in Completion Engineering, Gravel and frac pack operations.
  • Good knowledge of Completion Engineering, Gravel and frac packing.
Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrable ability to execute well programs
  • Ability to coordinate a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex completion environment.
  • Demonstrable capability to analyze and solve complex well completions problems.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of logistics issues related to completion operations in Nigeria environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating Reservoir Management and Production Operations interface.
