Job Title: Well Examiner


Job Reference No.: 2013-DC-12
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description:
  • Perform well examination dutioes. Review well programs to ensure specification conform with wellsafe recommendation.
  • Daily review well execution process to ensure conformity with program.
  • Attend RA, MOC SWCPDEP session and ensure standards are met. Last authority on specifications for well execution.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Required Skills:
  • Good understanding of Chevron D&C processes, Broad D&C experience in engineering and execution both in JV and Depwater environment. Problem solving and team work skills.
Experience
  • Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling and completion and drilling operations.
Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrable knowledge of applicable well program specification standards
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrable capability to analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions problems
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
