Job Title: Corrosion Technician

Main Functions
- Provide Corrosion technician support to all sites
- Receive hands on training with current corrosion (Category Plan (CP) ) technicians
- Assist current inspection/corrosion and pipeline engineers in scoping/assistance where needed.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform routine corrosion monitoring and inspection activities (initial focus cathodic protection (CP)
- Perform/initiate routine maintenance for the field corrosion control system (CP)
- Assist the corrosion engineer in scheduling and conducting inspections
- Planning work scopes and schedules for integrity program activities
- Entry of inspection and survey data into the Programmatics databases
- Assisting Electrical Engineering Lead
- Surveillance and reporting - Electrical Control and Maintenance System (ECMS)
- Scoping works for plant modifications and repairs
Job Requirements
- Years of closely related field experience
- Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
- Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
- Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
