Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc (DSR), the largest Sugar Refinery in the African continent and market leader in the Nigerian sugar refining sector is seeking to recruit experienced and dynamic candidates to support its expansion and market growth plans within the local and West African Market within the next few years.

DSR is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: General Manager, Supply Chain

Location:
Any City, NG

Key Responsibilities
  • The primary objective is to lead and manage DSR's SCM function to world class standard, and Implement effective SCM procedures and policies to drive rapid improvement of the function in the Company.
  • Implement effective strategies' for cost efficiency and process optimization.
  • Drive rapid improvement in functional standards across all activities at both strategic and operational level, with effective procedures, cost monitoring and management reporting systems in coordination with the corporate office.
  • Establish and monitor agreed SCM Key Performance Indicators and take corrective action.
  • Provide Effective leadership on the Contracts, Procurement, logistics and Nigerian Content development.
  • This position will report to the Executive Director (Engineering & operations).
Qualification
  • A first degree in any discipline with post graduate degree/ diploma in Supply Chain Management or Operation Management.
  • 15 to 20 years relevant work experience at least 8-10 of which should have been at senior management level in FMCG environment.
  • Proven track record of performance in a large reputed company.
  • Good working knowledge of all facets of Contracts, Procurement, local Content, and logistics.
  • Chartered member Nigerian Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
