General Requirements for the position:
- Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
- Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently.
- Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
- Proficient in Microsoft office(word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
- Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written.
- Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.
- Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player.
- The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Managing Customs Clearance and inland transportation business
- Designing and implementing end-to-end supply chain process
- Managing and Coaching logistics staffs
- Setting up team target based on company's strategy and lead whole team to achieve it. Maintaining good relationship 'with scanning companies, Customs, SON, Quarantine, shipping line etc.
- Solving and coordinating all exceptional issue and queries during Customs
- clearance.
- Performance and evaluation and managing of all the LSP
- Cutting down clearance lead time and Cost Tracking and Studying new Customs policy and update internal business process to match new policy.
Qualifications & Skills
- A University degree holder.
- Minimum of 8 years work experience in a corporate environment.
- knowledge of duty computation.
- Good knowledge of Nigeria import and export policies.
- Good understanding of the payment mode of international trade documentation, letters of credits, bills of collections,etc.
- Experience in interpreting customs tariffs and also managing customs brokers.
- Have good knowledge of telecommunication equipment and HS Code classification.
- Good relationships with banks, scanning companies, SON. Quarantine, shipping line,etc.
- Good communication skills and management skills. Knowing how to manage a team and achieve team target.
- Must have project management skills.
