General Requirements for the position:
- Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
- Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently.
- Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
- Proficient in Microsoft office(word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
- Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written.
- Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.
- Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player.
- The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Timely preparation of import documentation and authorization for all air and sea shipments.
- Ensuring timely management of carriage for imports and exports.
- Making of form M.SONCAP Certificates,etc.
- Maintenance of system data requirements and ensuring integrity at all times.
- Ensuring the integrity of import and export documentation such as final invoice CCVO, MC, Packing list.
- Verification of all freight invoices.
- Maintenance of all records.
- Must understand the payment mode of international trade documentation;letter of credits, bills for collections,etc.
Qualifications & Skills
- A University degree holder.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a corporate environment.
- knowledge of duty computation.
- Good understanding of Nigeria import and export policies.
- Good understanding of import documentation required by the importers and shippers.
- Experience in interpreting customs tariffs and also managing customs brokers.
- Have good knowledge of telecommunication equipment and HS Code classification.
- Good relationships with scanning companies, customers, SON, Quarantine, shipping line,etc.
- Good communication skills and management skills. Knowing how to manage a team and achieve team target.
- Must have project management skills.
