Job Title: Senior Installation Engineer

Description of Functions
- The Senior Engineer provides engineering and technical expertise to the project team, supporting more senior engineers or managers. All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Nigerstar 7.
Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Responsible for the removal and Installation procedures / task plans of Subsea 7 spools (various location; Platform, Subsea manifold, etc.
- Responsible for the Installation procedures / task plans of Subsea Bracings, Riser, Clamps & Risers
- Responsible for the Installation procedures / task plans of Subsea Bridges and Mattresses.
- Rigging Design / report
- Material Requisition for Rigging Material
- Mooring Pattern
- Review and check the Rigging arrangement drawings
- Review and check the Installation Sketches
- Crane Study / Vessel position
- Support to SCM / TBE (technical Bid Evaluation)
- Support other engineers within his team
- Attends meetings when required
- Report to the Lead Installation Engineer
- Work Closely with the Diving Subcontractor Rep. and with Structural Team
- Provides specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in project or discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. Understands clients' needs; identifies and addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions.
- Under limited supervision, independently evaluates, organises and prioritises work.
- Undertakes responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.
- Signs and issues technical documentation as originator or checker, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.

Person Specification
- Ability to lead and function as team member across multiple projects.
- Sound communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise own and others’ workload, manage time and change control accordingly and direct team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.
- Ability to manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers.
- Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development.
- Ability to guide and Mentor graduates and junior engineers.
