Responsibilities
- The Interface Manager will ensure that all interfaces between the company and other contractors and Clients are identified, documented and managed during the detailed engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning phases.
- Monitor and ensure that the company performs all interface activities in accordance with its obligations under the EPC contract
- Assist to identify, document, and resolve interface activities of the project
- Develop and maintain an overall interface Plan for projects covering all identified and potential interfaces.
- Support the Project Manager in resolving all interfaces between the company and Contractors/Clients
- Status interface activities between the different projects to ensure that all interface related requirements are met during detailed engineering and according to the Project milestone schedule and completion
- Carry out activities in relation to interface management in accordance with the contract
- Conduct interface workshops and meetings
- Maintain interface management system including follow-up and close out of interface requests to/from Contractor
- Define need dates and final dates for interface information in cooperation with Engineering Manager and Project Manager
- Participate in Risk Assessments as required
- Monitor subcontract construction which is an abstract of the Master Document Register listing all documents involved in the Interfaces of all interface groups
Requirements
- A University degree in any Engineering field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil and gas industry specifically in EPC projects
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and responsibility
- Must be conversant with the relevant codes, regulations, standards and safe practices applicable in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience in dealing with international contractors and operators preferable
- Member of Professional Engineering Institute is preferred
