Job Description
- The University librarian shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the administration and co-ordination of all Library Services in the University.
- The person to be appointed must possess good human relations and exhibit considerable ability and competence in librarianship.
- He must also hove extensive and indepth knowledge of the University system.
- The library being the Centre of academic activities of the University requires a librarian with a proven record of research, publications and administration.
Qualifications
- A good honours degree plus a higher degree in library Science or a postgraduate diploma or Diploma in library Science or Information Technology; at least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in librarianship, including some years in an upper management position.
Salary
- Consolidated salary of N6,030,962.00 per annum.
