Job Title: Program Coordinator
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Program Coordinator is a senior Management position and a high responsibility role, as the ideal candidate will be required to manage staff, programs, and seek grants and funding to run the Foundation as a whole.
Job Responsibilities
- Seek for grants and funding from International Partners in order to run our programs.
- Develop and expand social enterprise initiatives to raise additional funding for the foundation
- Responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and develop initiatives to support the strategic direction of the Foundation.
- Seek for relevant partnership in other to position the Foundation on a global level
- Identify, build, and maintain partnership with other local and international NGOs
- You will manage; develop program staff skills and competencies by providing direction, input, and feedback.
- Manage governance by ensuring that the company foster and maintain a strong relationship, while maximizing the opportunities the board of director, advisory board bring on board.
- Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework.
- Responsible for the enhancement of the company’s image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professional, civic, and private organizations.
Person's Specification
- Education: Minimum of Upper credit in relevant course and Master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Experience: 5-10 years’ work experience in senior nonprofit management experience in development
- International exposure working as a program coordinator.

- Excellent Marketing skills
- Solid, hands-on, budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting
- Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation
- Ability to convey vision of the company’s strategic future to staff, board, volunteers and donors
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector
- Skills to collaborate with and motivate board members and other volunteers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff
- Strong presentation and public speaking ability.

- Gifted communicator across multiple stakeholders with experience of delivering material in a way that engages the audience.
- Transparent and high integrity leadership.
