Job Title: Health Field Officer 2 (Medical Store Manager)
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Main Responsibilities
- Prepares the Monthly inventory in collaboration with the hospital Medical Store Keeper
- Receives the monthly order from ABUJA and checks the packaging for completeness
- Ensures that all medical drugs and items are well organized, correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible
- Ensures each department is supplied on its order day in collaboration with the Medical store keeper
- Keeps records and submits expired drugs and reports near expiry drugs on time
- Contributes to good stock control and efficient use of hospital equipment
- Participates in hospital staff morning meetings and gives feedback to the surgical team
- Gives feedback on specific drugs and medical items position to the surgical team
- Tracks and keeps record of contingency stock and updates it regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Should hold Health-related science (nursing)
- 5 years’ experience in Medical Warehouse management
- Very good command of English and local languages
- Proven ability to work with people of varied cultural and social backgrounds
- Flexible, diplomatic and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
