Job Title: Operations Support Accountant
Location: Nigeria
Description/Requirements
- The ideal candidates for Operations Support must have good knowledge of technical and operational practices and principles of production operations, field optimization and development planning.
- They must be able to manage and apply multiple concurrent field projects and work in a team environment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- The ideal candidates must have a minimum of B.Sc/ HND Accounting with a minimum of second class Upper Division /Upper Credit
- Professional qualifications ICAN/ACA/ACCA
- Must have cognate experience of not less than 5 -7 years in a reputable Company
- Must be very analytical and capable of delivering results

- Provide support in the planning and execution of maintenance & major shutdowns, managing the commissioning and start-u p of new projects and plant modifications.
- Maintain inventory records and adhere to specific controls on inventories
- Industry dynamics and accounting standards will be on added advantage
- Prepare Financial Statements and render relevant statutory and regulatory reports required by relevant government agency/body to management
- Working knowledge of ERP Packages and excellent knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry dynamics and accounting standards will be an added advantage
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality and ability to contribute to team culture.
