Job Title: Program Support System (PSS) Officer
Location: Monguno, Borno
Job Summary
- The position is based in Monguno, Borno State and reports to the Monitoring & Evaluation Deputy Manager.
- The PSS Officer's role will be largely focused on the establishment, management and capacity building of local staff in project information system for greater project reporting and overall impact.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Establishment of an integrated PSS into the organization's projects to ensure compliance with donor objectives and methodology.
- Support teams to pilot data collection tools and integrate the findings into the final tools by providing feedback/error reports.
- Provide trainings to program teams and vendors on PSS.
- Provide support to the review and development of PSS for new projects, in collaboration with M&E DPM and projects teams at the field level
- Develop and update/pre-test PSS tools for M&E team.
- Ensure proper and timely implementation, management and capacity building on PSS.
- Document and promote good practice from planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities.
- Represent AAH externally in relevant forums and working groups at state level.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in IT, MIS/PSS or related field.
- Minimum two years' experience working with donor funded programming.
- Proven ability to create program support systems for large amounts of data within a complex program.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programming (Access, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word).
- Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and experience in using database specific software.
- Experience designing and leading capacity building and training for national teams.
- Previous experience in M&E, PSS of cash based interventions (i.e. cash for work, cash transfers or cash vouchers).
