Job description
Egina is a deep offshore development located in block OML130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited. The development is located 150 km from the coast in 1550 m water depth and includes a spread moored FPSO of 240 POB, associated offloading calm buoy, 2 productions loops connecting six subsea manifold with 21 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 23 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties in to the Akpo export pipeline to Amenam.
Responsibilities
- Develop offshore expertise in well performance engineering.
- Optimize well performance
- Follow-up of well clean-up& unloading tests
- Develop well summary (producers & injectors)
- Co-ordinate with field DWW to develop good understanding of production, water injection and gas injection completions
- Determine drawdown limitations of sand control
- Determine limitations of first ramp-up
- Understand depletion limitations
- Develop start-up/ramp-up sequence of production wells
- Set-up systems for well performance monitoring of production and injection wells
- Monitor & surveillance of production wells
- Monitor and surveillance of injection wells (water & gas injection)
- Co-ordinate individual well production and injection targets with onshore well performance & field GSR
- Manage well start-up procedures to
- Limit fines migration, maintain integrity of sand control & respect flow assurance
- Co-ordinate branch optimization with flow assurance and process engineer
- Co-ordinate trouble shooting of non performing wells with onshore well performance team
- Minimize fines migration in unconsolidated formation with high propensity for fines migration
- Maximize oil & gas production & sustain maximized production through systems analysis & well performance monitoring
- Team work & good communication with GSR
- Integrate expertise and efforts of different teams (FO, GSR)
- Implement efficient workflows
Requirements
- Degree in the relevant petroleum engineering discipline (Drilling and Completion).
- 10 to 15 years in Well Performance in Deep Water context. Strong knowledge in Drilling/Completion codes & standards.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts.
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
