Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location:
South-South, Nigeria

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the integration between the ERP and the Terminal Automation System (TAS).
  • Design, configure, integrate and implement process control solutions at the terminal
  • Develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various plants, processes, and/or equipment.
  • Develop User Requirement Specifications.
  • Develop software and hardware design specifications.
  • Design, write, implement tests and document PLC and HMI software.
  • Develop control system validation/testing protocols. Specify and purchase process instrumentation.
  • Specify and purchase PLCs, drives, and other electrical components and equipment.
  • Perform other functions as may be requested by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications and Experiences
  • Minimum of B.Sc. Second Class (Upper Division)/ HND Upper Credit in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Automation/ Instrumentation courses.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an operating engineering environment
  • Experience working with a variety of control systems including DDC, DCS and PLCs (Direct Digital Control, Distributed Control System, Programmable Logic Controller)
  • Experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis on PLCs, SCADA or HMI systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Human Machine Interface)
