Job Title: Head, Scheduling and Dispatch

South-South, Nigeria

Job Description
  • To manage the entire activities involved in scheduling trucks and dispatch of loaded trucks within the depot.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and eliminates internal complexities on process with respect to trucks turnaround within the depot
  • Responsible for Volume tracking via volume reconciliation, surveillance reports of depot despatches and Management report on the operation.
  • Oversee the collection and confirmation of available tickets at the deport manager's office.
  • Coordinate the submission of unloaded tickets and loaded figures at the end of our daily operations within 10 minutes.
  • Issuing and writing of waybill to the drivers.
  • Compare electronic ticket generated with manual ticket to ensure they tally before issuing the waybill.
  • Attend to customer (drivers and market Rep) courteously.
  • Detecting of original and fake loading charts.
  • Confirmation of authority to load (ATL).
Qualifications and Experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in the Sciences, Engineering or related discipline
  • Eight (8) years' experience in Tank farm operations with at least two (2) years in a management role
  • Operations Management certification plus a post graduate degree in a relevant discipline would be an added advantage.
