The company is a corporate member of the West African Insurance Company Association (WAICA) and the Nigeria Insurers’ Association (NIA), the official umbrella of registered insurance companies in Nigeria, as well as The Africa Insurance Organisation (AIO).
Recently, SUNU Group, a leading Africa Insurance Group acquired Sunu Assurances Nigeria and the Company is gearing towards rebranding to align with the SUNU brand’s global identity. The acquisition has given SUNU Group presence in the Nigerian market. The Group already has operations in 17 other African countries including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central Africa,Cote d'ivore, Guinea, Gabon, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
