Job Description
  • As CRM and Email Marketing Manager, you will play an integral role in building, delivering, and measuring campaigns aimed across Owned Media channels of Email, Push, SMS, and In-App messaging.
  • You will leverage your CRM knowledge, digital marketing experience and campaign performance data to iteratively test, optimize and recommend new best practices to make our next success even greater.
Responsibilities
In particular you will:
  • Define an operational roadmap of marketing communications accordingly to the Commercial Planning inputs coming from commercial Team and from Customer Insights.
  • Setup, improve, and optimize communications to constantly improve customer conversion and retention KPIs through all the channels on each Email, SMS, Push notifications, web notifications by A/B testing content and timing.
  • Set-up Revenue Targets per day, campaigns and channels and make sure targets are met every day.
  • Analyze your daily performance and make decisions accordingly
  • Report your performance to your management on a regular basis explaining why and how.
  • Inspire the wording content for all the communications accordingly to Market Innovation, Jumia Brand Guidelines and your marketing knowledge.
  • Build and edit email templates using HTML and CSS
  • Complete recaps and reports, providing assessment, identifying opportunities and initiating recommendations/solutions for CRM programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in direct and database marketing spanning email, snail mail, mobile, digital marketing and phone, with a track record of managing multichannel campaigns, required.
  • Can read and code email templates using HTML and CSS
  • Background in B2B/B2C marketing in industries such as eCommerce, retail, hospitality and airline.
  • You have a working knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Mailchimp etc.
  • Experience of Email Marketing, Direct Response Marketing and digital marketing.
  • Experience with A/B testing & statistical validity and proven ROI / campaign effectiveness experience.
