Job Description
- The job holder will keep up-to-date account records and oversee smooth transactions with clients of the Board
- He/She would also be accountable for supporting the administrative, financial, and risk management operations as part of the accounts team.
Job Responsibilities
The Job Responsibilities are not limited to the following:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain records of business costs and check invoices for inaccuracies
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger and handle general account queries
- Contact members of the Board and other clients about invoices that are past due, etc.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- Candidates must have a B.Sc/HND in Accounting or its equivalent in Business Administration/Social Sciences/Humanities from a recognized Institution plus at least these (3) years post qualification cognate experience
- Candidates must have excellent information technology (IT) skills with specialty in spreadsheet application, microsoft office and accounting software.
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Strong quantitative background with a basic knowledge of accounting functions and a proven track record of successfully handling accounts
- Great communications skills, team player, enjoy working with a variety of clients, willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced week environment
- Work experience in the industry is not required but preferred.
