Job Title: Corporate Partnership Associate
Location: Lagos
Maternity Cover Duration: Six Months
Job Description
- You will be responsible for working with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to identify areas of need, sourcing potential partners, conducting due diligence and conducting contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a market-leading partnerships proposition and product
- Execute on a clear and comprehensive partnerships strategy and pipeline
- Drive partnerships from initial pitch via negotiation to closure
- Manage key relationships and ensure all our existing partners are happy and retained
- Work with teams across the business to ensure our partners and their customers are getting the best experience possible
- Partner with clients and brands to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- At least 3-5+ years of client facing experience in business development or similar, with accountability for meeting concrete strategic business targets
- Experience in marketing at a consumer brand or tech company
- Demonstrable success establishing and achieving business goals
- Thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong writing and communication skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and quick-decision making skills
- Strong attention to detail with highly organized, advanced office skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new processes quickly
- Ability to manage multiple decision processes while working in a fast-paced paperless environment using multiple systems and databases
