Job Title: Brand and Corporate Communications Manager
The Role
The role of the Communications Manager is to develop and implement Beryl Shelter’s communications strategy in collaboration with relevant staff, ensuring that the company targets key decision-makers as well as the general public. S/he will also be responsible for raising awareness through broadcast, print and online.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translate company business objectives into creative and executable corporate communications strategies and programs.
- Demonstrate strong judgment in understanding key trends and news elements to develop a successful PR .program with proactive and responsive media relations activities.
- Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Interact with senior company management, senior communications management, external resources such as agencies, partner companies; provide strategic counsel to key executive spokespeople on relevant PR activities and programs.
- Develop and implement Marketing strategies and programs to promote the branding as well as products and services of the company.
- Provide content and publications including newsletters, annual report and product brochures
- Maintain a rigorous and consistent approach to branding, messaging, content, quality and general look and feel throughout all communications and external messaging.
- Manage a comprehensive employee communications strategy and plan that directly supports the business strategy, vision and values and use a range of appropriate tools that are measurable.
- Leads communications for major business initiatives and events.
Qualification and requirements:
- A University Degree, or equivalent experience in branding and corporate communications.
- Innovative thinking and knowledge of a broad range of media, including being able to develop new online and offline media strategies for the property sector.
- Proven track record leveraging entire marketing mix to successfully promote and drive success among media and influencer communities in the property sector.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to produce high quality work under strict and constant deadlines with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to work with minimal supervision.
- Market knowledge and cultural sensitivity coupled with a comfort working with different cultures.
- Strong sense of responsibility, forward-thinking, detailed-minded and sound judgment.
- Line manager experience and a track record of leading, developing & coaching a team.
- MS Office: specifically, Word and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to multi-task, do market research and analyze results effectively, prioritize and influence stakeholders; understand the target market and its dynamics.
- Good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research.
