Job Title: Network Administrator
Job Description
The Network Administrator will apply professional experience and training in information technology and network communications to provide technical support for the data communications network or group of network of the company. He or she will support the network infrastructure by installing, configuring and troubleshooting network equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the computer networks in order to make sure that they are functioning smoothly.
- Customizing the network to meet the necessary requirements of the company.
- Monitoring the network’s performance.
- Controlling user access to the network and, and configuring firewalls to secure the company's network.
- Support, manage, and ensure operating capability of both the LAN and WAN.
- Ensuring hardware, software, and network upgrades, installs, re-installs, changes and relocations are efficiently completed as required.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining PCs, workstations, and other networked devices.
- Troubleshooting computing systems, networks, and applications to identify malfunctions and correct them as well as other operational difficulties.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a good amount of knowledge in Sciences and Mathematics is necessary.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 5-7 years experience working with the computers and every network issue related to the computer.
- Familiarity with different types of network operating systems and Internet Service Providers.
- Knowledge of computing and computer network hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
- Good Knowledge of computer network security systems, procedures, techniques and applications.
