Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should:
- Possess a good Honour's and Master's Degrees in Library Science/Library and Information Science;
- Be computer literate and have a good knowledge of the use of cataloguing and classification (LC);
- Have a minimum of five (5) years' work experience and demonstrable potential for academic librarianship in a university environment; and
- Provide evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and attendance of learned conferences certified by the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
Salary, Allowances and Benefits
- Salary and allowances are as obtainable in Nigerian public universities.
- Successful applicants with Master’s degrees will be given adequate support in the pursuit of their Ph.D. programmes.
