Detailed Job Description
- This role will ensure effectiveness of people, process and technology in the company's technological domain. Plan, Organize and manage personnel issues to ensure stable operations with the IT department.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive for standardization and best practice in the department
- Proactively manage statutory and fiduciary requirements of regulatory bodies as it applies to the use of Information systems
- Provide an added value internal quality function to monitor compliance with, advice staff on, and promote adherence to the IT policies/procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help drive through the appropriate changes (improved quality, reduced costs)
- Manage IT human resources especially recruitment
- Provide practical advice and support to the department in preparation for external audits to ensure successful certification and minimal audit actions
- Ensure information systems logical and physical security
- Instill ITIL Process Management in the department
- IT processes documentation, organization and relationships
- Manage the IT investment especially budgetary allocation
- Communicate management aims and direction to IT staff
- Manage SLAs
- Manage IT operational risks
- Monitor and evaluate IT performance
- IT Steering Committee Management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- The ideal candidate should possess a University degree in Computer Science or any Engineering course with certifications in CISA/CISM/PMP/ITIL.
- Should possess a minimum of 2 years in IT process management and auditing.
