Job Title: Head of Sales and Marketing
Location: Sierra Leone
Supervision: To report directly to the managing director
Specialization: Sales/Retail/Marketing,Transportation/Logistics/Shipping
Overall Function Of The Position
- The incumbent will drive customers’ acquisition and revenue growth targets by making our Client’s products and services the preferred offerings within its chosen market segments.
- You will be responsible for maximizing the Sales and Marketing team potential, crafting sales and marketing plans, justifying and reporting success of the plans to Managing Director on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales and marketing targets by successfully managing team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Monitoring of sales and marketing representatives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales and marketing, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Managing Director.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new services and competition status.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to products and services.
- Marketing products and services to corporate customers.
Education And Experience Required
- Minimum of Bachelor’s in any discipline and a Master’s Degree in any business related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience in Sales, Marketing and Haulage
- Relevant professional qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel Office
- Track record of Exceptional team leading

- Financial management including financial reporting, creditor and debtor management
