Civil Society for HIV and AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN) is the National Network of civil society organizations working on HIV and AIDS programmes in Nigeria. CiSHAN requires the service of a committed, dynamic and experience staff to support the implementation of Global Fund R9 Phase 2 project cycle focusing on OVC, Adherence Support and Community System Strengthening (CSS) in the 36 States of Nigeria including FCT.

This position is based in the National Head Office, Abuja.

A. Program Manager

The Program Manager will have generic programme management and reporting experience that cuts across OVC, Community System Strengthening (CSS) and Palliative/Adherence Support components of HIV and AIDS care. In addition, s/he will be extensively involved in different elements of business/proposal development and negotiations with national and international development agencies. The PM will also be responsible for partnership management, capacity building and donor reporting. The preferred candidate should have good experience in M&E, community mobilization processes and very good reporting and facilitations skills.

Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Development Studies, Public Health or Social Sciences;
  • At least 7 years of significant program management experience with national and international development agencies focusing on health/HIV and AIDS.
  • Past supervisory experience and skill is required.
  •  Ability to work closely with CSO partners, government agencies and commitment to network mission.
  • Appreciable M&E experience will be an add advantage.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders successfully and create linkages between organizations, communities, government etc
  • Experience in strategic planning amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to gender responsive programming and proven ability to develop successful proposals to public donors.
  • Working knowledge of and experience with GF, USG and other donor agencies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Capacity building, business development and negotiation skills.
