We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager, Travel Desk

Location:
Lagos

Role & Responsibilities
  • Management of Travel agency.
  • Managing budgets and maintaining statistical and financial records;
  • Selling travel products and tour packages;
  • Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet expectations;
  • Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the business.
  • Managing travel website and connected IT assets with help of IT team.
  • Liaising with travel partners, tour operators and hotels, to manage bookings, schedules and promotions.
  • Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the branch.
  • Helping to promote and market the business, including sometimes away from the branch location.
  • Cash handling, key holding, data entry and retrieval, managing budgets, maintaining records and producing financial reports.
  • Ensuring that staff adhere to financial report and operational procedures and that any training needs are identified and addressed.
  • Managing and motivating staff to meet targets, thus ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Meeting regularly with company directors to provide feedback on branch and staff performance; and to take direction.
  • Ordering sales literature, stationery and disposables to ensure the efficient running of the branch.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Graduate, MBA/IT qualification will be given preference
  • Experience - Travel industry minimum of 5 years with at least 2 years in Managerial Capacity
