Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Dependent on the grading of the specific role being filled, there will be a requirement to provide Leadership / Management / Supervision /
- Oversight of engineering activities utilizing colleagues, subordinates, other supporting functions, and internal/external service providers as needed to fulfill the requirements of the tasks being worked on.
Responsibilities
- Appointing and overseeing providers for services including car maintenance, buildings maintenance etc.
- Supervising a team of 2 staff maintenance,
- Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, electrical, plumbing, are well-maintained
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Allocating and managing furniture and apartments for expatriate staff
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
- Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments
- Helping expatriates to relocate to new apartments and to make decisions about leasing
- Drafting reports and making written recommendations.
Qualifications
- B.Eng/B.Sc Civil/Building/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor
- 5-7 Years Minimum experience in oil & gas infrastructure FM activities
- Must be familiar with working in a multi-discipline environment
- Must have worked for an Oil & Gas Operator Company.
