Job Description
  • Leading a Team of high performing individuals servicing Global Network Corporate clients in Nigeria, and delivering on Team Goals and Engagement
  • Owning a set of relationships and delivering on client satisfaction and budget metrics
  • Ownership for Team deliverables, including but not limited to - Financial Modelling, Company and Industry Research, Data flow Coordination, Pitch Book Preparation, Assistance to Directors and Managing Directors in the Origination and Execution of transactions
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Understand products and capabilities of the Firm internally & externally
  • Leverage product, industry & region expertise, and the Firm’s resources
  • Understand and demonstrate focus on client service needs
  • Demonstrate the ability to build client relationships.
  • Lead pitches and deal execution meetings
  • Use product knowledge to support new business origination, development & execution
  • Recognize & Flag cross sell opportunities
  • Coach and manage the work allocation amongst Peers and Juniors in the team
  • Prioritise and manage the expectation of Senior Bankers on deliverables
  • Drive deal execution and new idea generation independent of Senior Bankers
  • Develop and form an opinion on deal/transaction issues; effectively articulate and defend a position
  • Knowledgeable of key industry trends where applicable and its related implications on the business/clients

Qualifications & Skills
  • CA / MBA Finance from a Leading B-School
  • At least 7 years relevant experience, with minimum 3-4 years, as Analyst / Lead Analyst with a Bank / I-Bank in M&A, Equity Research, Leveraged Finance and a minimum 2-3 years as a client facing Relationship Manager, managing multinational / global corporate relationships
  • Has successfully completed a range of transactions / deals incorporating a number of different products / industries
  • Possesses strong listening skills
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic
  • Consistently demonstrates integrity
  • Consistently exercises good judgment
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills (with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Achieves excellence in client service
