Job Title: Engineering Team Lead
Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Job Summary
- The Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for keeping the electrical/ mechanical systems in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the engineering manager and maintenance engineer in solving technical problems
- Monitors all electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
- Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work.
- Provides suggestions for ways to improve machine output.
- Assists the engineering manager or maintenance engineer to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Keeps apprised of the latest developments and innovations in the industry.
- Prepares engineering related documents and reports as directed by the maintenance engineer
- Orders and replaces equipment parts.
- Conducts all scheduled maintenance and update daily monitoring record
- Participates in the operation of water and HVAC system
- Provides technical support to customers and employees.
- Ensures all safety procedures are observed at the engineering workshop.
- Undertakes any task assigned by the engineering manager or maintenance engineer
Job Requirements
In this position, you need to have:
- HND or B.Sc in Engineering
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role
- Project management skills
- Problem solving/Diagnostic.
