We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Welder II
Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2018-0037
Location: Ibadan, Oyo.
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)
Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Carryout operations on different steel structures
- Keep daily and monthly records of activities
- Perform metal cutting using power saw/Oxygen-Acetylene flame;
- Carryout drilling and welding jobs using arc and gas welding machines;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- OND, Trade Test II /Artisan certificate with minimum of three (3) years’ experience in performing similar or related roles. .
Competencies
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to read engineering drawings.
- Be honest and ready to work under pressure.
