Job Descriptions
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify innovation opportunities that align with the Bank’s strategic objectives
  • Review emerging trends within the Banking industry as well as other applicable industries
  • Develop use cases for new trends or solutions that are applicable to the Bank
  • Provide support in the development of an innovation evaluation criteria
  • Assess and prioritize potential innovation opportunities in line with approved evaluation criteria
  • Liaise with required stakeholders in developing business cases for selected innovation initiatives
  • Work with Innovation champions across the BUs to ensure innovation initiatives are successful implemented across the Bank
  • Assign and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Track benefit realized from implementing each innovation initiatives against benefits stated in business case
  • Proactively manage changes in initiative scope, identify potential crisis/risks, and devise contingency plans to provide solutions and take corrective action
  • Develop presentations, reports and provide update on implemented initiatives with respect to approved business case to the Bank’s Innovation committee
  • Conduct review of executed innovation initiatives against approved business case and make recommendations for possible improvements
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Head, Enterprise innovation unit
  • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook
Qualifications
Education:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, with a  minimum grade of 2.2
  • Project Management certification will be an added advantage
Experience:
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant working experience working in an innovative environment covering a range of multiple functional areas
  • Experience with managing idea generation and management process
  • Experience that span across start-ups and large corporate environments with extensive network within the startup ecosystem
  • Experience with Program Management or Project Management Office desirable
  • Supervisory experience
