Job Summary and Purpose

The Nigerian PwC’s Risk Assurance practice is looking for a strong Senior Associate to help us develop and deliver high quality IT audit services to a wide range of clients. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for an ACA (qualified or part-qualified) CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP auditor to join a growing team and gain exposure to a dynamic mix of client assignments.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The majority of your time will be spent conducting Controls Assurance work in support of an External Audit. You will undertake both IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews and business process reviews for our external financial audit clients. This requires developing an understanding of the risks facing the client and an understanding of what controls can mitigate those risks. As a result, you will develop a detailed knowledge of clients from both an IT and business perspective.
  • In addition, you might also be involved in Technology Assurance. This involves the provision of a wide range of Technology Assurance services like IT security, IT service management, user access and entitlement management, controls over enterprise business systems, business continuity planning / disaster recovery planning, and end user computing.
Required Experience
  • Experienced in an internal or external auditing and/or consulting environment of systems audit and the evaluation of technology and/or business controls supporting financial and operational application systems and related business processes in a complex environment.
  • Experience of working in teams and supervision/coaching of junior members of staff.
  • Demonstrable project management and analytical skills, business awareness for delivering stakeholder value, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • The ability to apply independent judgment during engagements and to support conclusions reached to senior level personnel both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, when necessary.
  • Experience of developing and building strong relationships with client and internal stakeholders, including strong communication skills, such as presenting and report writing.
Requirement
  • Degree in related field with not less than Second Class Upper division with at least 6 credits in one (1) sitting.
  • ACA and/or CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP qualification or equivalent.
