Job Title: Team Lead, IT Value Management

Introduction
  • Responsible for the financial information associated with Information Technology delivery
Key Responsibilities
Cost & Budget Management:
  • Manage the IT-related financial activities such as Accruals and Work-In-Progress
  • Prepare a budget reflecting the investment priorities supporting strategic objectives based on the portfolio of IT-enabled programmes and IT services
  • Analyze variances between forecasts and actual costs, and report using the enterprise’s financial measurement systems
  • Implement a cost management process comparing actual costs to budgets
  • Consult stakeholders to identify and control the total costs within the context of the IT strategic and tactical plans, and initiate corrective action where needed
Business Value:
  • Evaluate the portfolio of IT-enabled investments, services and assets to determine the likelihood of achieving enterprise objectives and delivering value at a reasonable cost
  • Monitor the key goals and metrics to determine the extent to which the business is generating the expected value and benefits to the enterprise from IT-enabled investments and services
  • Identify significant issues and recommend corrective actions
Cost Optimization:
  • Ensure the adoption of resource management principles to enable optimal use of IT resources throughout their full economic life cycle
  • Continually examine and make recommendation on the current and future need for IT-related resources, to meet the needs of the enterprise in an optimal manner
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, out of which 3 years must have been spent in Finance or a similar role in IT
