Position Title: Lead Services Project Manager

Role Summary/Purpose:
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading fulfillment of Valpak projects aimed at enhancing existing power plants. The Project Manager must coordinate engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and logistics activities while partnering with regional functions to execute outage activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage complex Valpak projects primarily for Gas Turbine and BOP upgrades, but occasionally involving Steam Turbine and Generator upgrades.
- Lead internal project kickoff with project team members to communicate & coordinate full project scope.
- Coordinate activities of project team inclusive of engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics team members to deliver Valpak content. Project team may also include people from other P&Ls with scope in the overall project.
- Coordinate with region P&L and fulfillment peers to plan and execute repair and outage activities.
- Conduct project risk reviews aimed at driving strong project execution.
- Coordinate implementation of new or revised scope through change orders.
- Effectively manage customer communication and contract deliverables.
- Manage project financials (sales, margin, receivables).
- Drive customer issue resolution.
- Actively participate in Lean initiatives to improve/simplify project execution.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS Degree in technical discipline
- Operations, commercial and/or technical (FE) experience (5 years minimum)
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of GE financial practices
- Willingness to travel (moderate)
