Job Title: Chinese Translator
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
The Duties & Responsibilities are not limited to the following:
- Help to translate Chinese language to English-language for staff.
- Assist when needed especially summarizing and preparing reports.
- Prepare and maintain file and correspondence.
- Attends and takes management meeting minutes.
- Provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs and helps us reach a broader audience.
Qualities for the Fole
- Ability to write well and adhere to a given framework.
- The ability to transfer style, tone and cultural elements accurately from Chinese to English Language
- Attention to detail.
- Be an extremely good listener.
- Have excellent sensory, motor and cognitive skills.
- Have an extensive vocabulary of multiple languages.
- Cope with stress and self-control when dealing with difficult speakers.
- Show emotional resilience.
- Must be able to speak and write Chinese
Requirement for the Role
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a translator.
