Job Title: Lead, Electrical and Instrumentation

Job Description
- The Electrical / Instrument Lead will exhibit exemplary safety and managerial leadership in all matters pertaining to electrical and instrumentation maintenance works on and around the vessel.
- He is responsible for ensuring his subordinates are competent to carry out their allotted tasks and confirming and clarifying the status of electrical personnel, (whether UAE, CEP or EQ etc.).
Roles/Responsibilities
- Maintain and adjust the condition of electrical and instrument assets;
- Monitor and assess the performance and condition of electrical and instrument assets;
- Diagnose Faults in electrical and instrument assets;
- Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures;
- Manage and Supervise effectively; Demonstrate competence during Emergency Response Drills end training exercises,
Experience/Competence
- Proven experience and/or qualified to HNC/HND in Instrumentation and/or Electronics, or recognised equivalent;
- 10 years’ experience desired with offshore experience preferred; Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment;
- Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities;
- Experience in Safety and Environmental Management Systems; COMP ex EX Course;
- Preferred courses achieved : HV Protection and HV/LV Switching;
- Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent;
- High standard of analytical, diagnostic, technical and professional knowledge, on pneumatic, electro-hydraulic, and hydraulic control systems; Use standard Management System ‘Office’ package electronic mail system; software and equipment as required.
