Job Title: Operations Supervisor (Clearing)
Location: Nigeria
Hours: Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily.
Position Summary
- Who will be managing and handling of shipping documents, so as to have access in the discharge of goods from the vessel.
Job Description
- Calculation of Duty, ( Annexure, Proforma Invoice, PFI )
- Bill of Lading/General description of goods
- Product Certificate
- Submission of Form M
- SONCAP
- PAAR
- Customs Assessment
- Duty payment
- Customs Duty
- Shipping Bill
- Terminal Bill etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years working experience is required for the position.
Desired Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications ( i.e. MS-excel, MS-word, Outlook etc)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multitask
- Handles confidential financial and personal information appropriately
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
- Possess strong problem solving skills
