Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading provider of oil & gas engineering services to recruit a Project Engineer - Mechanical for its operations in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
  • The Project Engineers shall develop and revise drawings and technical documentation of equipment and systems according to contract requirements.
  • He/She will report to the project Manager
  • Ensure that procedures and documentation is in accordance with relevant procedures regulations and codes
  • Performs and supervises mechanical analysis and controls schemes and layouts
  • Prepare and evaluate documentation, drawings and calculations as part of procurement specification required
  • Prepare inquiry requisitions and review all supplier documents, coordinate with the vendor & otherdisciplines related to specific equipment
  • Give technical recommendation/evaluation on vendors
  • Give input to Inspection, Operation, Maintenance and Repair documentation for the project
  • Identify special tools for IMR and give input to SPIR list
  • Establish FAT procedures and follow up on fabrication and interface engineering
  • Report non-conformities and deal with them according to existing QA procedures
Requirements
  • BSc Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in oil & gas industry
  • Knowledge of BV class rules and international rules and regulations (IEC / EMC / Solas / IALA / ICAO)
  • Experience handling N2 skids and hydraulic driven winches
  • COREN Certified
  • Fluency in English is compulsory
  • Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
  • Should be Self-motivated
