To achieve its goal and sustain it, is seeking to complement its pool of talents by employing a highly organized, proactive and innovative Store Manager.
Job Title: Store Manager
Job Purpose / Specification:
- To plan optimal strategies for receiving and issuing materials/parts for smooth plant operation.
- To ensure that materials and parts are received and issued within the company's standard procedures.
- To ensure necessary precautions are taken to secure goods in the stores/warehouse against loss.
- To ensure effective and efficient management of manpower, process and stock control.
- To regularly update the stock control system and working procedures.
- To plan for future storage capacity and periodic check of existing facilities in order to keep them in good condition.
- To monitor store opetation and maintain work/material distribution equity to achieve the set productivity target
- To participate in the recruitment and selection exercise for the store.
- To ensure continuous training and development of store personnel and also put In place succession plan.
- To ensure security, health and safety standerds are in place in the store environment.
Educational Qualification, Skills and Experience
- B.Sc/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Enginnering.
- Certificate in store management would be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate and conversent with Autocad.
- Must possess good analytica, motvational and leadership skill.
- Must be able to effectively delegate duties and transfer knowledge.
- Must be conversant with timely delivery on assigments.
- At least 7 years cognate experience in manufacturing / cement industry with at least 4 years experience in supply chain and ERP systems.
