Job Description
- Achieve annual financial objectives assigned to this role
- Generate new framework agreements with companies for the purpose of acquiring purchase orders
- Renew, extend and maintain existing framework agreements with our existing clients for the purpose of maximizing purchase orders on the agreement.
- Develop new business opportunities even in non-Oil & Gas Markets through new uses of the machine shop, and fabrication facilities
- Prospect for new client opportunities throughout Nigeria
- Generate & submit estimates, quotes, and lead tender submission process where applicable
- Coordinate with the client and company supervisors to have customer’s job done at various levels of production.
- Liaise / coordinate with Commercial team to maximize revenue generation opportunities.
- Create new and maintain client relationships with both current and prospective clients
- Direct Reporting to the Sales Manager
Expectations
- A good relevant First Degree with high technical sales would be a bonus; an MBA will be an added advantage but not necessary if street smarts and experience can be demonstrated
- 1 to 5 years in Sales and Marketing or Account Management typically handling customers; especially in the Machine Shop space.
- Proven experience of engaging with senior management level contacts.
- Evidence of past successes with major clients will be required
- Must have excellent Excel spreadsheet and Power point presentation skills
- Very strong writing, communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- Stellar time management skills, interpersonal abilities with good work ethics
- Excellent presentation and outstanding networking skills
- Detailed understanding of the Machine Shop Market business.
- Sound knowledge of pricing models, bid and contract negotiation
- Conversant with the latest technology trends in the Industry
- Results-focused
- Hands on machine shop and welding production experience an asset
- Excellent client, customer management and sales skills and will be expected to put together high quality quotes and tenders.
- Strong leadership skills, will be required to create Team spirit and commitment to serve the customer well.
- Willingness to travel 85% of the week to achieve your business successes.
