Job Title: Lead Developer Consultant
Location: Lagos
Job Overview
- The Lead Developer will typically act as a mentor for new or lower-level software developers or programmers, as well as for all the members on the development team. Also contribute to the creation and maintenance of high quality software applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Executes a range of tasks in line with agreed software development methodology
- Develop specialist knowledge in relevant technologies, programming languages, tools, techniques and apply expertise and knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
- Share expertise and provide technical advice and guidance to others.
- Provide coaching / mentoring as required.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in software development processes.
Qualification and Skills
- Experience working with programmers of a cross functional development team
- Specialist knowledge of relevant technologies, applications, languages, environments, systems software, packages, platforms etc.
- Good communication skills with business customers and technology teams
- Product management is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum four (4) years software developer experience
- Scrum master is a plus
