Job Title: Locum Public Health Consultant

Job Description
- KASI Healthcare is looking for a Locum Public Health Consultant with Interest in Aviation Medicine to join our cohesive and enthusiastic team of consultants in diverse area of medicine.
- The contract will be for 3 PA's per week. Six hours (6hrs) for Each PA
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and treat aviation related diseases.
- Provides medical technical oversight to health care delivery personnel assigned to the Clinic to include advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, and enlisted medical specialists.
- Provides routine care for medical problems within scope of practice and scope of care for the Clinic.
- Performs aviation specific medical tasks, including (but not limited to) periodic physical exams, follow-up for health issues identified during Post-Deployment Health Reassessment, temporary and permanent profiles, fitness-for-duty evaluations, medical boards, flight physicals and aeromedical summaries.
- Manages the medical aspects of the Aviation Safety Program by conducting lectures and classes for aviation personnel, observing, examining and treating patients under flight conditions and supervising the fitting and use of personnel safety equipment.
- Initiates accident investigations to include duties as medical officer on accident investigation/flight safety boards.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess MBBS, FWACS or its equivalent
- Candidates must have Completed Residency
- At least Diploma in Aviation Medicine
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years post-Fellowship experience
- Candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
