Job Title: Locum Occupational Health Consultant
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a Locum Occupational Health Consultant with Interest in Diving Medicine to join our cohesive and enthusiastic team of consultants in diverse area of medicine.
- The contract will be for PA's per week. Six hours (6hrs) for Each PA
Essential Job Functions (include but are not limited to)
- Candidate will address the health and safety of the diving community, as well as the range of illnesses which respond to hyperbaric oxygen (HBO). These include decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, gas embolism, osteoradionecrosis, and the healing of problem wounds.
- Diagnose and treat diving related diseases.
- The Physician will utilize expertise to mitigate and treat injuries and illnesses to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. Will coordinate medical referrals, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition. In addition, will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient.
- Provides medical technical oversight to health care delivery personnel assigned to the Clinic to include advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, and enlisted medical specialists.
- Provides routine care for medical problems within scope of practice and scope of care for the Clinic.
- Performs occupational health specific medical tasks, including (but not limited to) periodic physical exams, follow-up for health issues identified during Post-Deployment Health Reassessment, temporary and permanent profiles, fitness-for-duty evaluations and medical boards.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess MBBS, FWACS or its equivalent
- Candidates must have Completed Residency
- At least Diploma in Diving Medicine
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years post-Fellowship experience
- Candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

Salary Package
N250,000 - N1,000,000 Monthly.
