Job Title: Locum Consultant - Orthopedic Surgery
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- KASI Healthcare is looking for a Locum Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery with special interest in arthroscopy, spine, knee and sport medicine to join our cohesive and enthusiastic team of consultants in diverse area of medicine.
- The contract will be for a 3 PA's per week. Six hours (6hrs) for Each PA
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Performing surgeries on various parts of the musculoskeletal system including reattaching tendons and ligaments, plating broken bones, and performing hip and knees replacements.
- Perform arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, hip, spine and the ankle joint.
- Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests such as MRIs, X-Rays, and bloodwork and recommend treatments such as therapeutic exercise, nutrition, and other non-invasive surgery or open surgery.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess MBBS, FWACS or its equivalent.
- Completion of approved Residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years post-Fellowship experience will be an added advantage.
- International licensure, training and academic experience will also be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
