Job Description
Manage outpatient and inpatient care, medical research and mentoring members of the medical team.

Reporting To: Reporting to the Board of Trustees/National Executive Council

Job Description
The major focus of this role will be to develop, implement and manage short, medium and long-term strategies that will ensure the continued growth, sustainability and profitability of the NCF

Key Responsibilities will be to:
  • Oversee day-to-day technical programmes, operations and maintenace of the Organisation
  • Champion the formulation and implementation of the Organisation’s corporate strategies. 
  • Drive the overall business development strategies in order to ensure the realisation of NCF’s expansion and growth aspirations.
  • Drive the development of annual operating plans, including business plans, operational requirements, staffing and budgets to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage relationships with external professional services providers and consultants, including legal, insurance providers, marketing and IT
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and lead the development of relevant strategic alliances to generate new project ideas.
  • Take full ownership of the Organisation's financial performance and provide periodic updates to the Board.
Qualification/Experience
  • A good first degree in Botany, Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines. An MBA or comparable finance experience at executive management level in the non-profit sector is essential.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ financial and operational management experience, including five (5) years’ experience at executive management level.
  • Excellent financial, operational, business acumen and commercial knowledge to drive business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to create unique financial platforms for new projects from the ground zero and provide a vision for the future for the Organisation.
  • Passion for and experience working on environmental, sustainability, conservation, and/or environmental education issues.
  • Excellent relationship management and strategic networking skills to attract projects and partners by communicating a compelling and inspired sense of purpose.
  • Outstanding leadership, negotiating, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
